NATIONAL ASSEMBLY RECEIVES WORLD`S LARGEST POSTCARD
The National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia today received the world’s largest postcard, a symbol of peace and tolerance, and the gift of Peter Gelencer, ceramic artist from Sombor.

The author of the postcard underlined that it was made of bits and pieces of the material he works with every day, which he used to create a picture of his hometown. The postcard weighs over 160 kilos and measures 2,4 by 1,4 metres; it is made of ceramic and over 20 other materials with symbolic meanings. It carries a message of peace to peoples of the former
The postcard is on display in the hallway on the first floor of the National Assembly building.
